Help for first time users registering and logging into the forums.

First time visitor?

• Click on “Register”

Read the Forum’s Terms of Service

• Click on “I Agree to these Terms” if you so agree.

On the next page:

• Fill in your User Name

• This can be an alias. This is the name the others will see when you create a posting.

Fill in your e-mail address

• This will be the e-mail address that others can send messages to you or where you will be notified if you are monitoring a forum and wish to know of any new postings.

Fill in a password.

• Recommended length from 6 to 8 characters

Click on “Save”

• Re-Type your password

• Click “Save”

The following message will appear:
Your account has been created. However, this forum requires account activation. An activation key has been sent to the e-mail address you provided. Please check your e-mail for further information.

Note: If you are using a free email provider such as Hotmail, make sure this e-mail did not get in your "Spam" folder. Add the address to your green list, so you can receive notification e-mails and other information sent from the forum.

Log into your e-mail.

• There will be a message entitled: Welcome to FORDOG Forums.

This e-mail will have your userID and Password and a link to activate your account. Once your account has been activated, you will be taken back to the FORDOG Forums and can log in.
